KYOSHI SHOKO SATO - WSKF Shito-Kai Pan-American President of World Shito-Ryu Karate do Federation. Master Shoko Sato is considered to be one of the great masters and pioneers of Japanese Traditional Karate. He was born in 1945 in Miyagi, Japan and began practising Karate when he was a teenager in the early 1960s under Great Grand Master Manzo Iwata, a direct disciple of founder Kenwa Mabuni. SHIHAN A TANZADEH - WSKF Shito-Kai Vice President (Technical) Technical Advisor to Asia Pacific Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation. Sensei Tanzadeh is considered to be one of the great sensei and innovators of Shito-Ryu Karate-Do. He began practising Karate when he was a teenager in the early 1970s and received his first shodan (black belt grade) in 1977. He received his 6th dan black belt in 1996 and received his Master Certificate (Karatedo Shihan Title) from the World Shito-Ryu Karate Do Federation. More here ... |

The style of Karate known as Shito-Ryu is one of the four major Karate styles in the world. The largest of these is the prestigious, JKF/WSKF Shito-Kai headed by Soke Kenei Mabuni, the son of the founder of Shito-Ryu Karate-Do. The purpose of this organisation is to act as a reference and contact point for JKF/WSKF Shito-Kai in the UK. |
